A River Celebration!

The Colorado Riverfest is a celebration of one of most precious commodities in the Grand Valley, our river. Although it appears tame, meandering its way through Grand Junction, the river is wild, a powerful and majestic force that gives our valley shape and life.
Through this celebration, we honor what great luxury we have as children of the river. We play and grow by the river all year long, taking advantage of its natural flow by sporting outdoor adventure at every twist and turn. In 2018, we will come together for the first time to raise a glass and cheers to our mighty fellow, honoring its essence with some tasty tunes and crunchy vibes.
So take a break from the boulder garden, and come out and catch us in the eddy.
The Colorado Riverfest is an annual community festival to celebrate one of our most powerful and majestic friends, the Colorado River. This mighty river is the lifeblood of our community and state and the 40 million people downstream that rely on it. It is also a world-class destination for recreation, enjoying wildlife, and even just cooling down on a July afternoon. Your participation in the event directly supports the river through your donation to the Round Up for the Riverfront program.
As the first year of the event, we are starting small, but like a trickle turns into a river, our efforts are focused on growing the event to offer all kinds of river activities, multiple music venues, and multiple days of fun in and on the rivers of the Grand Valley of western Colorado.
The first annual Colorado Riverfest provides an excellent opportunity for the community to come out and celebrate the amazing benefits of the Colorado River and Gunnison River corridors to the Grand Valley and all of Western Colorado.
